We believe there is immense potential to bring about change through improved agronomy education, business practices, input loans, ongoing coaching and vegetable production with education aimed at school children.  Many skills can be utilized from your own home.  We are currently seeking the following:

Financial Analysis

• Feasibility and cost-benefit analysis of potential projects

• Educate farmers through spreadsheet analysis.  This will include profit and loss calculations, budgeting, and other managerial practices.

• Work with farmers to help establish and maintain a microloan program.

Website monitoring and maintenance

Publicity

• Create website content; updates from the field, new projects, or Zambia news

• Create a press release

• Graphic design for promotional pamphlets

• Fill speaking engagements regarding Zambia-Iowa Agricultural Partners; its mission and programs.

• Host a booth at the farmer’s market to tell our story

Work with farmers to market their grain

​

Water projects

• Borehole analysis including site selection, flow rates, drip irrigation implementation and cost-benefit.

• Calculation of water needs for school gardens
